Representatives of the Kalush City Council, together with Mayor Andriy Naida, took part in the Interregional Economic Forum "DEVELOPMENT OF THE BUSINESS SECTOR OF UKRAINE. RESTORATION".
This is actually a very relevant and necessary event, because such gatherings are a concentration of ideas, startups, experience, knowledge and useful communication. And the goal of the current meeting is the development of business, as a life-giving artery of the state's economy.
The main driver of the forum is the Ivano-Frankivsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the grant support of USAID.
The participants of the event are a wide representation of business circles.
On every discussion platform everywhere, we talk about our community, about its investment opportunities, about the experience of successful relocation.
The mayor had the opportunity to talk about how our economy works today, what measures we are taking to create conditions for business relocation.
To date, 21 enterprises have already moved to us. This number, in percentage terms, is almost the largest in comparison with other communities.
They also discussed a huge number of important issues that concern local self-government bodies.
We supported the initiatives on the need to revise the equalization formula for 2023, which includes a reverse and basic subsidy, to enable communities to maintain the situation, which has its own priorities in each region, on the high-profile bill No. 5655. We hope to be heard.
