Kalush is the leader in attracting foreign investment in the region

Thanks to a successful investment policy, the city continues to be attractive to foreign investors. So with 37.3 million dollars in 2006, foreign direct investment (as of 31.12.2019) increased to USD 243,9 million dollars. This makes up 33,7% of the general index.

Kalush is a leader in foreign economic activity of the regional enterprises

Due to the efficient work of Kalush foreign economic entities, the volume of export and import of goods is constantly increasing. Thus, the export of goods in 2019 amounted to USD 434,3 million, imports - USD 384,7 million.The share of the city in total oblast volumes of export of goods accounted for 47,6%, and imports - 46,1%, which is half of all available in the economy of Ivano-Frankivsk oblast.

Foreign trade partners were non-residents from 59 countries of the world, which indicates that the city's economy was protected from macroeconomic shocks.

Kalush is a leader in the amount of sold products at Ivano-Frankivsk oblast 

In 2019 industrial enterprises sold products (goods, services) by 17.6 billion UAH.

A considerable part of this volume consists of products from industries: chemical and petrochemical production (80%), supply of electricity, gas steam and conditioned air in the general amount of realized products (6%,) production of wooden goods, paper and polygraph activity (7%), production of rubber and plastic products, other non-metallic materials (2%), food products and beverages (1.4%) and others.

Due to the industry of Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk oblast has taken the second place in Ukraine in terms of attractiveness of the investment climate based on REGIONAL DOING_BUSINESS-2018 rating
