The concept of the communal industrial park " GALICIA" was approved

At a plenary session, the Kalush City Council considered the concept of a communal industrial park and unanimously approved it.

      The name of our industrial park - GALICIA (derived from the ancient Greek ἅλς - salt) - which is now already approved in the concept, also has its own role.
      After all, it combines a lot of things - the history of our region, the good fame of former industries and recognition among wide circles of the world community.

      The concept highlights a number of parameters of the Galicia industrial park that will ensure its attractiveness for potential users:

• convenient location (near the main transport corridors of the Ivano-Frankivsk region);
• convenient transport connections;
• location in an industrial zone in a rather large district city of Kalushi.

      The unique advantages of the Kalush community were noted: industrial lands are not located separately, but in one continuous massif with an area of more than 1,000 hectares, which makes it possible to create large industrial complexes, and explored deposits of potassium and magnesium ores with a capacity of about 300 million tons.

      According to the concept, the industrial park "Galitsia" will primarily house enterprises of the following industries on its territory:

• production of glass and glass products;
• production of building materials from clay (bricks);
• production of cement, lime and gypsum mixtures;
• manufacture of products from concrete, plaster and cement;
• production of machines and equipment and other industries compatible with the listed ones.

      As Valery Kyrylko noted, infrastructure facilities, such as gas stations, service stations and even a kindergarten, can also be located on the territory of the park, but they do not enjoy preferences from the state.

      The industrial park is created for a period of 30 years from the date of adoption of the decision. It is noted that, taking into account the technical characteristics of the site and easements, the approximate size of future industrial and other facilities may exceed 78.5 thousand square meters. Namely, according to the previously developed plan, six industrial facilities, seven warehouse facilities, two administrative and service facilities, as well as technical facilities and premises can be built here. It is noted that the distribution is conditional: these can be universal industrial boxes that can be used both for industrial enterprises and for warehouses.

      The next step in the implementation of this project should be the registration of the Galitsia Industrial Park of the Kalush urban territorial community at the state level.
