German guests came to Kaluch community

Came to the Kaluch community Anzhelika Kovalenko and Pirmin Shtirnol . Since March 2022, they have united with their German friends to provide humanitarian aid to our state, including the Kalusa community, and together they created the community "Gemeinsam Europa e.V."

     Anzhelika, native of Kherson, 27-year-old professional freelance musician, teacher at music schools in Storgald. 33-year-old Pirmin is a director of cultural events, a television journalist in Lahr/Schwarzwald. Anzhelika's parents left Kherson on the first day of the war and temporarily found shelter in Kalush with relatives. Since then, the volunteer activities of Angelica and Pirmin in Germany began.
   Hundreds of tons of cargo crossed the Ukrainian border a year: medicines, food products, hygiene products... Residents of many German cities join in helping Ukrainians.
   Here, in Kalush, members of the German community directly cooperate with volunteers from the NGO "Kalusa Branch of the Union of Ukrainian Women". KIM constantly helps with logistics and transportation. Therefore, Lyubov Lipovska, Khrystyna Urda, Vasyl Kravchuk and Ruslan Ilkiv were present at the meeting.
      Angelica and Pirmin personally provided support to the wax workers with ammunition and technical means (drones, thermal imagers).
      Volunteers brought help, and this time it was medicine.
    We express our sincere gratitude to good people for the tremendous volunteer work done. The mayor of Lahr (Schwarzwald) Markus Ibert also expressed his support by sending an official letter, which Angelica and Pirmin handed over.
    "I hope that this is the first step towards cooperation between our communities in the direction of partnership," said Mayor Andrii Naida.
