Kalush community is among the leaders in supporting small businesses: the city intensifies grant and loan assistance to entrepreneurs

On July 2, a meeting on grant and international activities and entrepreneurship was held in Kalush, chaired by Deputy Mayor Bohdan Biletsky. The meeting was attended by representatives of Oschadbank JSC, including: Head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Branch Lyubomyr Erstenyuk, Deputy Head of Small and Medium Business Viktoria Ovsyannik, and Head of Branch No. 142 in Kalush Iryna Miniv.
The main focus of the meeting was on establishing cooperation to support small and medium-sized businesses in the region. They discussed current issues related to attracting businesses to affordable financing programs, in particular the state initiative “Affordable Loans 5-7-9%,” as well as the possibility of grant support for entrepreneurs, including veterans and their family members.
Iryna Miniv spoke about the opportunities offered by the “Affordable Loans 5-7-9%” program, which provides financing for working capital and investment purposes: the purchase of equipment, solar panels, gas piston stations, goods, raw materials, and supplies. This allows local entrepreneurs to develop their own businesses on favorable terms.
Lyubomyr Erstenyuk drew attention to the “Business 4.5.0” program, which provides loans to veterans and their family members — in particular, wives — with the possibility of receiving up to UAH 5 million without collateral under a franchise. State grant support of up to UAH 1 million is also available for veterans, and up to UAH 500,000 for their family members.
There are 38 branches of Oschadbank JSC in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, four of which are in Kalush. At each of them, entrepreneurs can receive advice, assistance with submitting applications for financing, and learn about all current support programs.
The guests emphasized that the Kalush community is highly active in the field of entrepreneurship — many businesses have already taken advantage of both credit and grant opportunities. The significant presence of relocated enterprises, which find favorable conditions for development in Kalush, was also noted.
“Assistance to enterprises on favorable terms is important support for companies and the community's economy,” said Deputy Mayor Bohdan Biletsky. Following the meeting, the parties agreed to strengthen information support for entrepreneurs and promote banking programs and grant opportunities among community residents.
Entrepreneurs interested in developing their own businesses can contact any branch of Oschadbank JSC in Kalush for complete information and support.
