Delegation from the Kalush community at the interregional forum

   The interregional forum discussed issues of export and labor resources
   The delegation of the Kalush community, consisting of Deputy Mayor Bohdan Biletsky, Head of the City Economic Development Department Yuriy Sokolovsky, and representatives of the Industrial Precarpathian  Cluster, took part in the interregional forum "Ukrainian Export: Present and Future" on November 15.

   The event was held by the Ivano-Frankivsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry within the framework of the Project “USAID Supports Ivano-Frankivsk CCI in Conducting a Course of Training and Consulting Services for Export Managers” implemented with the support of the USAID Program “Competitive Economy of Ukraine”.
  The Forum was attended by over a hundred representatives of export-oriented businesses from the western regions of Ukraine (Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Zakarpattia, Lviv and Ternopil regions), experts, representatives of state, regional and local authorities. As well as the leadership of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.
   During the panel discussions, the issues of the current state and main challenges of Ukrainian exports were discussed. Dmytro Koval, head of LLC “Suzir’ya”, which is developing in the city of Kalush, presented his own thoughts on the mentioned issues.
   Bohdan Biletsky noted that the issues considered at the forum are relevant for the Kalush community. After all, they concerned the provision of enterprises with labor resources, training of qualified personnel, retraining of employees, grant support for companies and export problems. The rules of transparent booking were also considered.
   Based on the results of the forum, it is planned to develop recommendations to increase the competitiveness of Ukrainian exports and proposals will be developed to improve regulatory legal acts in the field of export activities.
