ECONOMIC FORUM “MADE IN UKRAINE – CARPATHIAN 2025”

     “MADE IN UKRAINE – PRYKARPATIA 2025”
   On January 17, the economic forum “Made in Ukraine – Prykarpatia 2025” was held in Kalush.

   The event was held at the initiative of People's Deputy Eduard Proshchuk and with the support of the Ukrainian Unity Foundation.
   The event brought together representatives of the highest branches of the legislative and executive branches of government, business, and local governments.

   It is gratifying that our city has become a center for discussing current challenges in the state economy.
   Kalush has great development potential. We have a developing business - both local and more than 40 relocated enterprises, many of which started their activities in our community from scratch!
   This was an extremely necessary event, filled with important cases that will be useful to business representatives and local government bodies!

   STATE INSTRUMENTS FOR STIMULATING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN 2025
   This topic was discussed during the first discussion panel of the economic forum "Made in Ukraine - Prykarpattia 2025".
   The key mechanisms for supporting economic growth in Ukraine were discussed.
They analyzed how modern state policy instruments can stimulate the development of various sectors of the economy and increase its competitiveness at the global level.
Among the issues discussed were tax and financial incentives for business, support for enterprises, the introduction of innovations and digital technologies, infrastructure development, construction and development of industrial parks, etc.

   The speakers of the first panel discussion are Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Andriy Telyupa, Deputy Minister of Education and Science Dmytro Zavgorodniy, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence Oleksandr Zavitnevych, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Environmental Policy and Environmental Management Oleh Bondarenko, Member of the Board of PJSC "Export Credit Agency" Denys Garasiuta.

   The “Made in Ukraine” policy was presented and the discussion panel was moderated by Dmytro Kysylevsky, Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development.

   “BUSINESS CHALLENGES OF THE FOURTH YEAR OF THE WAR” – THE SECOND PANEL DISCUSSION OF THE ECONOMIC FORUM
   Representatives of local and relocated enterprises shared their experience of operating in conditions of a full-scale invasion.
They spoke about the difficulties they face, about building new logistics chains, and adapting to new conditions.

   The participants of the discussion emphasized the importance of support from the state and local governments.

   The discussion also touched on successful cases of enterprises that were able to adapt to new challenges by implementing innovative solutions and strategic planning.
The discussion was moderated by Romanyuk Dmytro, Chairman of the Board of the Business Association of Ivano-Frankivsk.
Speakers:
- Tetyana Korotka, Deputy Business Ombudsman, who emphasized the importance of legal support for business and interaction with government agencies;
- Dmytro Shterenberg, co-owner of the production of doors of the Papa Carlo trademark;
- Oleg Domashchenko, General Director of LLC “3Betony”;
- Oleksandr Lakey, Project Manager in the Field of Industry and Production, City One Development Group of Companies, Industrial Park “Galicia”;
- Vadym Pasichnyk, Operations Director of the Industrial Park “Kalush Industrial HUB”;
- Natalia Zakharova, Chairman of the Board of the Public Enterprise "Prykarpattia Industrial Cluster", spoke about the importance of uniting enterprises into clusters.

   A joint dialogue between entrepreneurs, experts and government representatives will help strengthen the country's economic front.
The final stage of the forum was a question and answer session.

   Participants had the opportunity to address Deputy Minister of Energy Mykola Kolisnyk and Director of the Department of Economy, Security and Defense of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine Serhiy Smetanko with relevant questions regarding state energy programs and employee reservation in 2025.
