Kalush - the eco-industrial capital of western Ukraine - reality

            A high-tech glass production facility will be built on the basis of the Galitsiya industrial park in Kalush.

        Ukrainian development company City One Development and South Korean investment corporation ITOXI Corp. have signed a memorandum of long-term cooperation in the field of glass production. The announcement appeared on the official website of City One Development.

          This document testified to the common aspiration of the parties to the development of innovative industry in Ukraine and became an important milestone for the implementation of a large-scale project to build two modern glass factories. One of them is on the territory of the Galitsiya industrial park in the Kalush community.

         “For our community, this is a landmark event that confirms its investment attractiveness, industrial capacity and strategic location. This plant in Kalush, within the Galitsiya industrial park, will become one of the largest new-generation industrial facilities in the region. It is expected that its commissioning will take place in 2028,” says Andriy Naіda, the mayor of Kalush. — For two years, we have been actively working on the creation of the Galicia municipal industrial park. As of now, this work is already yielding powerful results. We are approaching our main strategic goal – “Kalush is the eco-industrial capital of western Ukraine”.

         City One Development already has experience in implementing large-scale projects: at the beginning of the full-scale invasion in 2022, it began construction of a float glass plant in Berezan (Kyiv region) with a capacity of 600 tons per day. Investments in this facility are estimated at 140 million US dollars.
